Beginning in 2016, every year (excluding 2018, and 2021) I painted a portrait of myself in coffee; the exception is Kai, a portrait I painted of my best friend. Each photo is positioned in chronological order. I enjoy the progression of my technique as I learned more about the medium. Every painting emotes the perception I had of myself at that particular time.
