Students came into my drawing class at many different skill levels. I used techniques like the grid method to support beginners while also helping more advanced students strengthen their observational drawing skills. Throughout the course, students completed projects that explored texture, value, light and shadow, and shading. Each assignment was designed to build confidence while giving students the opportunity to develop both their technical skills and their own artistic style.
